Team Events

Friday, November 16 ( 8-4) Engineering Day-U of M,  Herff College of Engineering Open House- Robotics teams will participate in E-Day Activities and also demonstrate their robot.

Saturday, December 8 (9)- FLL Competition (FIRST Lego League)- Robotics teams have been asked to volunteer and demonstrate their robot for the Lego League Competition at the U of M.

Saturday, January 5, 2013- US FIRST FRC Kickoff Broadcast (NASA & FIRST) – New Hampshire- all registered teams wishing to attend the Kickoff will meet at the University of Memphis @ 8:00 a.m. to view the simulcast, pick up their Kit of Parts and attend workshops provided from the U of M.

Saturday, January 12- US FIRST (Memphis Teams) Quick Build at the U of M- Teams will report to the university to begin the basic building of the robot that they will use in competition.

Friday, January 25th- Possible Fundraiser with 1 Universe

Team Competition

March 28-30 (Smoky Mountain Regional Competition) Knoxville, Tn- all 11 MCS teams will leave on Tuesday, March 26 to prepare for the Smoky Mountain Regional Competition in Knoxville ,  Tn. 


Team Needs

Corporate mentorships- Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Business Marketing

Financial Sponsorships- $12,000- $24,000 per team to attend two regionals and possible the World Championship.
